Not according to your first post: you had problems relating to layout and grounding. Buying expensive op-amps won't fix that.
The schematic for most commercial amplifiers are out there somewhere on the web. (E.g. Vox Pathfinder) and you can probably find the PCB layouts too.
Don't forget that half the "tone" comes from the speaker.
