Hi, I made a mounting board for the amp with 4mm ply and 3mm Perspex. It was tricky because the pots weren't very well aligned so drilling the holes for the shafts was an empirical business. I backed the Perspex with 4mm ply and cut out openings to allow the pots to go tight up to the Perspex are glued the whole thing in to be airtight. Very fiddly but doable.

This one. Mine is Bluetooth 5.0. It has sub level, sub frequency (70 - 200hz), mid / high level, treble boost and overall volume. It also has a switch that high passes the mids at a fixed 150 hz. Pretty good for£15!

Marty Nice build , was keen to know how you compare this say against BoseS1 Marshall Woburn speakersFinally got my project going and finished after a month. Tang Band W5 1138 with an SB Acoustics SB15SFCR-00 5'' x 8'' Passive Radiator. The racetrack shape allowed for a low profile enclosure rather than a briefcase style. I tuned the passive using 1hz step test tones to approx 36hz in around 9.7 litres with 40g weight added. Tang Band W4 9374Sf for the mid high sound great in .5 litres sealed. The TPA 3116 2.1 amp provides great power and flexibility with the 24v lithium battery. Its run for over 20 hours! Total cost around £240.
Hi Tigeranand. I've only heard the Marshall Acton which was great but mine definitely had it beaten for bass depth and authority. Better clarity too, I reckon. It's nearly five years old now and still performing perfectly. The Woburn is double what mine cost but I bet it's excellent. 😸👍
