Tiny Amplifiers

Hi,
Do you think a Hybrid amplifier a cheat as a tiny amp?

I'm working on a Aikido driven Power fbuffer, maybe a souce follower or an unity-gin Op-amp. I'm almost done with Aikido experiments and in the process of casing up the amp... but I still can't decide on the output stage.

Cheers

I've got the smallest...

So far, I think that mine's the smallesst...

It's tube line-up is:
35w4
12at6 (x2)
50c5

All tube (no solid state). Built into a 6" x 4" x 1" steel box. Puts out around 1.5-2watts. Not my design...it's called the All American 4, after the all american 5 radios that all of the tubes came out of...

Hope somebody's still into this thread...

Not really in the same league as a 6V6SE... particularily with those tiny OPTs (probably 2.5K>8).

The tube coolers actually invoked the name -- i was helping Bill package up a set of coolers for a Swedish distrib, and those were rejects -- floor sweepings -- that Bill kust gave me. They are there only to improve the caraciture value of the amp 🙂

The amp is now somewhere in SE USA... someone emailed me and just gad to have it.
