Looks to be a way to vary "focus" of the drivers with listening distance.
It isn't going to be pulled into a focussed narrow beam.as well as floor and ceiling splash.
I don't like "focused" and strictly fixed listening positions.That just means your head can be in a vise closer or further away.

That stuff is for the weird crowd.
I enjoy a softer, more spread-open effect, where I can sit anywhere in my living room, sofa, loveseat, or even on the floor somewhere, or even the nearby dining room, and enjoy music.
I don't think that they are using the word "focused" the same way you guys are interpreting the word. I took it as moving the combined front polar intensity forward or backward a few meters .... not a tight beam like effect. Really now fellas, how would that even be possible just adjusting each driver in the vertical? The horizontal spread angle would remain as is. They're just adjusting the point distance that the drivers combine.
