Hello,
I would like to use the INA217 as an electret insert pre-amp and have the option of driving either an unbalanced or balanced output.
I was unable to find any suitable circuits for this and the design notes in the datasheet don't mention electret inserts.
Is it fairly easy to interface a 2-terminal insert to the differential input of an INA217 IC?
I intend to run the circuit from a 9V battery - will I require two for a balanced output or can it be achieved with just one?
Thanks.

There's a simple mic. preamp circuit on the linkwitzlab Lab website:
Hopefully this is useful to you 😉
Note: You could use the "spare" opamp in the dual-opamp shown in an inverting configuration and actively drive the balanced output.
