Definitely, for 300 W / 70 V rated Zen Lite Amp, how many 150 W / 240 V bulbs I need in which disposition

Considering that the amplifier would be 8% efficient, that would be a lot of light and heat created by this amplifier for that power... are you insane?

I think what you want to know is about the number 4.

Instead of 1*300W at 120V like Nelson Pass used in the article try 4 * 150W at 240V.

But, maybe its a cheap and easy way to use some 12V Halogen bulbs in serie and parallel, or like i did, use 2*500W Halogen 240V in parallel.

As an aside, after some research we did determine
that Halogens are perfectly good for this application.

try it with 35W or 20W 12V halogen lamps.


On my SOZ, I tried it with 3 lamps in series substituting one 8ohm resistor. works fine
