In opening the amp up to adjust bias, I noticed there is no thermal grease applied between between the mica insulators and output transistors.
Thermal grease is present between aluminum substrate and heat sinks. Is this what you would expect to find? On other amps I've always found
each output transistor having thermal grease applied for best heat transfer. Thanks

Usually thermal grease is used with mica shims - and I think it should! - but I have also seen some "dry" amps.
I wonder if Threshold made a considered choice here (after testing etc)?
- Could someone have cleaned it off previously, or do you think it was assembled like this from the factory?
