I have been lucky enough to acquire a 220V Fet nine (the original version) labeled for 220V. Can someone please tell me: Is this able to be run on 240V (I'm Australian) without change safely or will I need to rewire or remake the PSU?
Kind regards from Australia.

Thank you Zen Mod. I have read many of your contributions and am very pleased to have this old thing. I borrowed one for some time from a good friend and liked the sound very much (also the little gold city inside) so was really pleased to find one in such good condition and black even in Sweden and get it over here to Oz! Still will keep my eyes peeled for a later nine or ten and I have one of teabag's GB dcb1 to build too. Thanks for all your contributions in the Pass threads. I have been most happy to read them. I will build an alternate PSU too - I'm not extreme in my requirements but I'm sure I can spring for a nice weighty transformer and new caps to begin with. All the best!
