Thank you guys, it was more curiosity since VintageAmps posted his opinion on modding in another tread, when Netlist decided to move my question in a new tread. I normally use fast diodes in my rectifiers, but I was curious what he was recomennding as there are not too many high powered fast recovery bridges.
Thank you for the links, I will check them out.

even if I doubt that you'll hear difference :devilr:

If I recall well, Mr. Pass was sceptical about any benefit of having these rectifiers in a audio circuit, but he changed his mind and he is using them in his latest designs. One fact is for sure, they are not going to turn bad amp into good one, but when you have a good design any change in parts such as rectifiers, caps and sometimes resistors could bring subtle improvement. Same stands for cap bypassing, having dual bridge rectifier, and similar. Power supply will work in its simplest form, but with the above mentioned we could cirtainly improve some.

😕
but I assume that you'll use it for reviving chopped guts of old treshold.............and that's crappy amp :devilr:

I know that you know........sala mala :clown:

btw.....I just forwarded one mail, for your eyes only
