As I'm scrolling through new posts, I occasionally have a thread simply disappear from view, with the remaining threads simply sliding up one position. I'm not clicking on anything at the time, but I think perhaps my fingertips are resting on the trackpad. (Macbook) Anyone else having this problem?
This might be the case when someone replies to this thread. Have a look at the top of the list then. It appears to be a feature of the new SW.

I have noticed this as well... and yes I found the thread had moved to the top.
Yes, it is Extremely Irritating, and as I type this I am seeing an italicized font also very irritating !! :/
I see and found the italicize and sometimes it does not toggle properly there is no indication of what mode it is in. :/
It will be less irritating now that you know about it and why it happens. We couldn't stay in the dark ages forever.
Also the toggling seems to work fine at this end but I agree it would be nice to have indication of the mode. Not sure when that disappeared as it used to have a shaded highlight box around it. Now that box disappears when you move your cursor away from it, clicked or not.
