Let's just say that I went to the Randi site a second ago, and I am offended by the site, in a minor way. To ask for proof on their terms without balance is inherently offensive. I think they are right about Sylvia not being correct all the time. An honest psychic does not do any of this for money. They understand there is literally..no point. Money means nothing.
But..let's put it this way. If a person in a controlled test posesses 'psychic powers', per se..and the person testing them is an a-hole, looking to disprove them, with that angry intent high and strong in their mind..and psychic sensitivity is real..and it is delicate...then the tester, the one who is adamant about it not being real and looking angrily to disprove..is like a bull in china shop, and will wreck the experiment. Can you even get that point? Psychic folks with integrity wil tell you flat out, that it is not 100% reliable..for many, many different reasons. The explaination is difficult and long. Especially when the person whom it is intended to satiate does not have the basic understandings, or the languge to understand. There are roadblocks in the mind. Ones that need be removed. Well, a young guy in the factory said he tried it and I told him to stop right there..and then I proceeded to tell him ~~~exactly~~~ what 'hallucination' he had while under the influence of the plant. exactly. I described, in detail...every facet of the experience, that he personally had and shared with no-one.
This, of course...freaked him right out. He nearly turned white on the spot, he could not really handle it, but he stood there and listened anyway, but he had to disengage and re-contact reality. ..as he currently knows it. He thought it was some feaky hallucination...but...then I told him....and his little monkey was gripping it's little branch and shaking like a leaf when it was confronted with all that huge universe.....
He was forced to deal with an entire new understanding of the true nature of reality.
Make the change. Turn the page.
The concept of I, we, Us, them, we, etc..means... ..nothing. There is no time, no aging, no dying, no being born, no misery, no extremes, nothing like that. Just pure, simple, ..existence itself. Pure simple, unending bliss. Have you ever merged with another 'soul'? It's a wicked experience. To exist as the universe itself..and be ..nothing at the same time. Impossible to explain. Time is not linear.
An event seen by millions, viewed by millions or understood by millions, or very large amounts of people, for that matter, can be and sometimes is interpreted as a 'group' impression, like a crowd of people all tryng to shout something at the same time. This temporal echo has ripples in time (both forward and backward) , in terms of how the human mind sees things, with regards to this temporal anomaly. At least we like to think it is a tempral anomaly.
It only stands to reason that the capacity for the human mind to understand the non-linear aspects of time, would also hear things coming from the past or future, in terms of the human mind. For example, I witnessed the first shuttle disaster about 6 months before it happened, in an almost dream state. What I recieved, as an impression, was a mish-mash of the entire world of humanity's "impression", in their minds, of what they saw. The more effort put into working on this capacity brings about the ability to see further forward and further back in time, to see or catch the force of these "echo's" of major human events. I saw the two Columbine kids in a broad daylight situation, same as the French Concorde Disaster. Same for the two towers going down.
Nostradamus saw things via the same mechanism. If you go back to Nostradamus and interpret everything he says, via the understanding of what HE saw, or recorded as being HIS mind's spin, from that time in the world(time that Nostradamus existed)...as a mental impression of the minds of miilions of people (in the future.. for him) as a 'group mental impression'.....then everything begins to make far more sense..in terms of interpreting exactly what he means, or what he 'saw'. He recieved it like a film written and seen by 5 million hands and minds...at the same time. Then his mind spun it. He did his best to remove his own mental spin, or interpretation. This can be done, but it is quite a bit of work to get there. To see such things clearly, specifically far in the future is the sign of a highly disiplined and highly trained mind. The story goes that Nostradamus locked himself away and worked quite hard at it. The clearest views, tend to come from waking trance sttes, as opposed to the dream sttes. Nostradamus worked heavily on the former, but such things are vary taxing on the body, the stress is very high. It cannot be done for that long a time, which is why he did ot for only a few months. Apparently, one film on Nostradamus..has him taking LSD to enhance the situation. LSD has a tendacy to mix hearing and visual function..togther. It also is on record as increasing scores on IQ and cognitive tests by an average of 20%. Not taht the salvia has a bizarre connectiont sound as well. Methinks it is a connectivity of neural function, but that is big story and ramble on it's own.
What I usually 'get', or have on a daily basis, is when I wake up..I have set of dreams that describe's my mind's impressions of what the day's most critical event(s) will be (in the personal sense)..but with the flavor of some bizarre dream impressed upon them.
Like someone taking steroids, or training to ride bike and eating all the right foods..staying up late and studying, etc, etc, etc..this particular aspect of human function can be trained...and trained to a very sharp and powerful edge, and highly directed. However..there is issue with the fact that non-linear temporal aspects are going to do what I said they will do.
They can and do tend to disconnect the psyche to the idea of physicality and linear time..with regards to the mind's connection to what we like to call this 'reality'. Ie, the one that is you, reading this, right now. The heart beating, the kids screaming in the background, etc. That reality. The two don't really meet very well..even though the two definitely do exist (pardon the pun) simultaneously.
A far better descriptive as some have said, is that they exist together as you see the one, this space -and the other- is one of the described other universes, a tangental offset, of sorts, where dark matter is the primary mover. This is the two-d field universe, of the 'action at a distance' that has been described by more and more aspects of modern physics. You can move in that universe, and quite well. Remember..apparently...95% of the universe remains unseen and undescribed by modern physics. Imagine how much of yourself exists..there. Quite likely far more than is seen and known by you....here.

, the linear and physical tools and mental direction of science are aimed at a purely physical description of the universe. They keep knocking at the door, but don't seem to want to understand these sorts of points....at least some don't. The transition point, or one could almost think of it as: the point on the prism where the light separates into the rainbow of colors..that is the point where the mind is making the swap, or translation from the one space to the other, so to speak. This is merely a descriptive, this last point, not a literal translation of what is going on. It is definitely relevant and descriptive of the point, but not actually the exact mechanism. But damned close.
I could sit here all day and give you literally...thousands of examples of how to understand it. The point is, that one has to begin piecing it together..themselves. Simply because one wants to, one wants to know, one desires to understand. That's how it works. It may be that you are getting that it is entirely an internal thing, external considerations..mean very little, in terms of reaching some sort of understanding of the subject.
If you have decided that I am insane, well, knock yourself out. Go right ahead. I would counter that it becomes obvious to me, that you might not be ready to approach something like this, that has such power to tear down one's personal world view to that of a very young child. Complete destruction of the existing psyche is practically the norm with this stuff, if one explores it. Be very careful.

If we want to go into that realm, then YOUR burden becomes first to prove that your truth is somehow Truthier than my truth! I cannot prove your truth since my truth is already true to me!
Since my burden of "disproving" an asserted positive is to extend a counterexample, thus proving the asserted assumption that "astrology=true" is in fact NOT true, I must simply assert that counterexample within my truth. Having already done this within my perfectly true truth, the counterexample exists a priori to the challenge, and a declaration that "astrology is dis-proven" takes no more "integrety (sic), true depth of work and discourse" than for me to say "I have disproven astrology."
Careful what you wish for, or you might start believing the hallucinations.

Just a fair and unbiased, in depth assement, done with a clear mind, in both a pessimistic and optimistic bent (to present both or at least alterant sides to the argement. that would do. Such depth takes considerable time. It is a very deep subject, covering multiple diciplines.
Those who have done so have invariably found that it proves to be right too many times to be within the realm of chance, and thus are forced to believe that there is more there than can be easily explained away. This, at the very least, is the overall common result.
