Normally, I couldn't care less, but in this case I spent some time to correct errors in a site, and it would be good if this came across.

I've just tried posting to it and it seems OK.
There's no trace or history of anything posted by yourself and nothings been deleted. I've no answer I'm afraid, can't say what did or didn't happen. When posting something complex its always worth copying the post to your clipboard first just in case. 99.98% of the time there is never a problem, that odd 0.02 and it saves a lot of work.

Hi Paul, the last post I can see in the thread by you is post 291. It has your updates attached. Dave has also replied.
This may be the paging error that occurs at times. Try going into settings (usercp/edit options) and changing the number of posts per page to a different value and then try accessing the thread again. I've had this problem a number of times and that always seems to fix it.

Thanks for looking into it. What you saw should be allright, but the strange thing is, I can't move to page 30, so the last post I can see is #290. Finally, your servers are developing a will of their own!

OK based on that you must have your posts per page set to 10. Mine are set to 30 posts per page (probably the last value I set when I had this problem) and I can see all the posts in the thread.
I don't know why this occurs, but when it does usually changing the posts per page fixes it.
edit: there is definitely something screwy. I changed my posts per page to 10 and I can see the last page of posts but if I try to go to page 29, it jumps back to page 10!!

I didn't look very far back for your posts before... sorry.
Try clearing your browser cache and temp internet files (disc clean). I've had occasional issues in the past where I couldn't get past a page break and on to later posts and that always fixes it.
