Thanks for the link......really bizarre limits set over on TT.....96db from a 3” fullrange driver?........are we listening to music or chasing vermin from the lawn?........come on man.......LOL
The mic is pretty close to the cone, so it might be high to mid 80's at 1m.
As a minor observation, Tim Feleppa's driver tests (those originally referred to) also used HD plots averaged to 96dB. 😉
The same for me, I wanted to try them some time ago, but I had to order them from the USA. Finally I rather tried the Faitalpro 3FE25.

True, but in the at least in the UK they don't stock them in country, so there is a £16 delivery charge for every order, unfortunately. Still a good value driver, I think, but I can get the FaitalPro 3FE25 for £21 per pair with free shipping, which is hard to pass up...
Yeah, 21 pounds per pair with free shipping isn't going to be beat.
I'd point out though that the deliver is per ORDER. So at the very least that's for a pair, and they have some other interesting drivers in their listing (..like MCM's). Moot though if you can get the Faital's so cheap.
