I would like to repaint my Thorens TD-124 (creme colour), but I don't know its paint code.
Can anyone tell me what is the code of the ogirinal colour?
Shall I use car paint or has anybody tried powder coating?

I created a thread where we discussed a lot of TD-124 information years ago, you might try posting to that thread since it has a lot of followers.
I would recommend getting a pantone color booklet and try to match the color that way and then get some mixed up by a car body shop.
People paint these decks all sorts of different colors with all sorts of different types of paint; enamels, lacquers, and powder coat have all been used.
Both of mine are their original colors, the older one is quite distressed looking, the MKII is mint. On reflection neither of the OEM colors are that great by modern standards and I would go with something different were I to do a ground up restoration including the paint. (I think candy apple or cranberry red would be an interesting alternative.)
