Thorens 150 MkII and Valhalla units?

Hello!
How about using a Valhalla unit for controling the motor of a TD150 MkII (ser nr 111 000)?
Heard some early Valhallas have problems of their own.

Can someone enlighten me, please?

I can't help here, but I can point out that there are here some threads with ideas about building one power supply with great results (I built one )

What I know of the Valhalla can have problem with dried out electrolytic capacitors ie the three big ones and the retifier can be burnt as well as an resistor i think it was R1. This was the information i can give you can also try a Geddon clone.
