Hello

Yes Totem was exposing speakers, and yes Oracle still making turntables but they cost the price of a small car. There was also Nagra digital tape and preamp-amps. And lot of gadgets.

There was lot of amps over $5,000 and even over $20,000 , $100,000 etc... , but the VTL tube amp was much more musical and with a better 3D soundstage than most of thoses very costly amps.

There was two free jazz concerts, one was the Anne Bison trio (a lovely woman who play piano and sing) and the other was a friend of mine who play the double bass; the Michel Donato trio. They was awsome and those concerts alone was a good reason to go to the audio show.

I include some photos in few posts.

Hey thanks fo rthe reply. I see other people have at least viewed this thread. Are they too shy to comment also? just teasing them (lol)...
Anyway, what's the really big amplifier in the middle of the photo "amps1"? (the big silver one)

I'll have to check out those musicians' websites...

Hello

I seen so much amps that I don't remember the name of that big amp, but many times there was so much peoples in those rooms that I can not come close to the amps and I've did only listen and take photo.

It was the first time I talk with Anne Bisson but I've know her by some tv shows.

I've meet Michel Donato few month ago wen I was helping my old friend and jazz pianist Didier Chasteau at the St-Denis 2 theater for his jazz trio show, and Michel Donato was playing at this show, mr. Donato also have his hown jazz trio and also play in many jazz groups and he also play in the Didier Chasteau jazz trio. He is very friendly and one of the best double bass player in North America and maby in the world.

The stuff in the 1st pic are Grant Fidelity. I have one of the big amps (RITA w KT88) in my system right now -- we've been figuring out how to make it better.
