this lens of any use???

got a lens here that i need to find out if its any good to use for diy..
here is what it says on it:
Buhl optical 16mm B&H 500 3.0" f:1.6

so its 3" long and has a focal length of 1.6 im guessing....

Is it really 3" long?
I would guess this is a lens designed for old 16mm cine cameras, like Bell & Howell (B&H😀 ), focal length 3" (75 mm), aperture 1.6.

Could you post a picture of the rear, to see which kind of mount it has?

its actually 41/4" long in total
here is a pic of the back its got threading..im guessing it was on and old slide projector or something

Hmmm... that' s not the typical slide projector threading... at least, not the one commonly used on this side of the pond...
