I did see the suspended site and examined the code, must have been a hack, but certainly nothing to identify the perpetrators as far as I could tell.

I don't know anything about this alleged hacking.
But if the site was down due to an organisation breaking into the PASS sites, then while disabled, the perpetrators could plant lot's a viruses/phishing and general do no goods in the site.
Should we wait until PASS gives us the all clear before accessing and downloading from the site?

last night I refreshed mirrors (in my PC) of both sites , and KAV 2010 didn't make slightest hick up
so - it's safe
