Did you make those pics at the local dealer?
The subs you see in a first picture (Grand Slamm) are exactly the same I'm using in my open baffle spekers (12 & 15"). And I believe that my mids and tweeters are better. And still an open baffle is better than any box, even the epoxy one. And the best crossover is no crossover. Does it make my speakers better?😉
Of course they can't play as loud as closed boxes.

Wow. Looks great Peter. How wide-range (if any) do your mids go? Also anymore info on the sub-drivers?
To sum up:
What _exactly_ are we looking at 😉
Niels.

I guess we are looking at the cream of the crop and my speakers don't really belong here (but the drivers do😉). The mids are Triangles and they go at least up to 10K. I'm not using any crossover on them currently, just a single, series cap on a Raven.
And for speakers....

Matter of taste obviously but I improved the look of my Proac clones by painting the screws in matt black with a marker. Scary, but takes away the most disturbing glare (visual) they had before and made them look much more professional.
The subs you see in a first picture (Grand Slamm)
When you use Wilson's definitions then these are not subs (though for many people they definitely are !!!). The sub is the behemoth in the background
