Heres an oldie - Harris Corp's HC2500 metal case 100 Watt Power OP AMP .....
This thing went out of production circa 1985 thus giving me the job of designing some sort of substitute circuit / work around for the company's theater sound reinforcement amplification product. I would describe this an "aerospace grade" power amplifier module. The Harris data sheet actually describes it as "hermetically" sealed. Interestingly enough I ended up using the STK series of hybrid power output stages made by Sanyo ~ STK-0100 with a discrete driver input / stage as a replacement....

Simply STK-Replacement by a Push-Pull Class AB-Darlington Power Amp or Buffer ?

If I have an easy discrete universal power amplifier or power buffer circuit with stable idle current, each STK and other exotic hybrid thickfilm version would be easy to replace.
