Hey,
Looks like an ordinary low res 7" screen. The resolution is usable but not something too great. Its actually 480x234 (RGB). Consider this - NTSC dvds are 720x480... thats over 3 times the resolution!
Still will give a watchable picture, and a great starter LCD.
How much did you pay (in canadian ofcource🙂 ), and where did you buy it?

Hmm... does it atleast have S-video input?
I think it would be just fine up to 80" (depending on your viewing distance, even 100" can look great if your'e far enough).
If I were you, I would have gotten a 15" lcd and used that. I think there was a decent one for only $199 in Staples Business Depot before? I could be wrong...
Good luck on your project!
Cheers😀

P.S. what area in the GTA are you? I never heard oof anyone talking, showing, making or doing anything with diy projectors but me...
Im in Vaughan.

im near yorkdale mall....i went with a 7" cause i want to make something rather small..those 15" are kinda big...i saw that staples promo..it was limited time...and a while back..i just missed out on it😡 oh well....i can always return this one..got it 2 days ago and just get a lilliput off ebay or something...
Yea, I guess the Lilli is your best choice. Beware, there is a 7" Lilliput thats cheaper that has the resolution as low as this one.
Cheers,
Alex
