Kit is here and holes are being drilled... Quick question - do the caps/resistors etc need to be right on the tweeter, or can they be nearer the input socket, maybe 6" away down the wire?
It's OK to locate the XO components near the input socket and take a convenient length of cable to the tweeter.
Well, I installed the tweeters and the crossover and it sounds great! Doesn't need the attenuation cap either - sounds fairly balanced. A bit tubby sounding, but I guess that's a result of the cabs maybe being a bit small. Bit of a smile curve on the eq and I think I've got myself a PA. Thanks for your help!
