I've been looking at the ThermalTrak devices and some blogs by John Broskie (SRPP+ Part Two - bottom of the page).
The question comes to mind, is there a practical application of ThermalTrak (in Class A) for NP designs?
The answer my be "no", I'm not advanced enough to tell. The concept of thermally compensated outputs seems appealing.

They are, of course, bipolar. I haven't done any bipolar design lately, but
I expect that the Thermaltraks would be very good as output followers
in a Class A circuit.
Thanks. Now to get OnSemi to make a FET version...
