Fundamental research has found a theoretical limit to the speed of sound
in terms of fundamental constants, alpha, c, Mproton, and Melectron.
This limit is 36,100 m/s, about twice the speed of sound in diamond.

Solid hydrogen, figures it would have to be dense.
The sound at my house is rather lazy, loafing along at less than 343 m/s. 😡
