Yes, by all means, if at all possible.Sometimes its better to just avoid conflict.
Hindsight now, but I would have blocked their truck in, called the cops, and have a weapon handy.
'cept the wiseoldones ones don't pull right up to the garage or fence.
That's right Cal.
A little Common Sense goes a long way sometimes. 😉
Where I used to live we had trouble with Gypsies.
They would come round asking to tarmac the drive.
When I said no thanks they became very abusive.
So I called the police and they had words with them.
Next time i was in the town they tried to run me down with a car.
Sometimes its better to just avoid conflict.
Us neighbors live on a relatively quiet street here.
Sure, kids out playing make some normal noise on occasion.
But one neighbor, (asian) recently moved in and seems oblivious to the fact that his extremely LOUD and way off-key karioke singing blaring from his open windows carries down the street.
It sounds like a dying beast, and I'm sure other neighbors are upset over it.
It happens almost every day.
He'll wind up getting an "official looking" letter in the mail from our neighborhood Community Development Association asking him to lower the volume and contain that noise to his house.
It's worked before for another neighbor and his boom boom rap car speakers.
That certainly justifies some serious countermeasures.
That is actually a legal issue - dangerous dog attacking a human. In the UK it usually results in the destruction of the dog.
