Hi guys
I found some massive heat sink and maybe they are good for a class A amplifier...
Zen? DoZ? JLH?
Mariooooo (a good fiend) come onnn!!!
can you design a class A amplifier using some old stuff like the 2N3055???
OK OK
scratch, draw, plot,
yeeep, what is this?
is a delirium, and, of course, was called DELIRIUM
what do you think about??
ciao

Hi,
I made some valve+BTJ class "A" amplifier with 2N3055. But my amplifier use other type of output stage, samething like Nelson Pass class "A" design.
I used BC546+BD139+4x2N20355, as output follower, and same as current regulator. E88CC as driver. It sound nice with some feedback applied.

Your heatsinks looks sexy

Sajti - care to show schematic and photos ?
Hi,
I have to search for that. It was about 15 years ago...
Sajti
the ultimate class A 2N3055 amplifier is the JLH
It has existed since 1969. Everything else is a mere shadow
You could use 2SC5200 to get more power and linearity.
