LTD154EZ0D LCD, TOSHIBA, LTD154EZ0D, 15.4" TFT, WUXGA Item number: 6716494544
True 1080 resolution, 1920x1200
$250 for the LCD, $45 for the inverter(from the same seller), is there any progress on getting a controller?
I've seen several threads and several posts saying "I just saw those new highres laptop panels released and this will be my next project," but no updates.
I was under the impression that this combined with 1080p broadcast(yeah, that'll happen soon) was the holy grail of LCD projection - $12000 commercial system level.

I think that is the best but the problem is finding a controller that will work for that high of resolution and do scaling etc.
If i buy the laptop hereÇ http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=38121&item=6729217025&rd=1
Will I be able to take it apart and build my own projector:
Another words, I dont have to worry about a controller. I only need to worry about it being strippable right? So does anyone have the answer to that?
I think the money is reasonble. It comes with dvd and and you can build it within the projector as a htpc for upscalling and everything. Will the cpu run 1900x1200 video??

Probably, yes. If you mean raw HD archives, as long as the disk is fast enough to keep up the data it probably should fine.
