I finished these about 2 weeks ago as my first project for the Parts Express Speaker Building Design Team but forgot to post over here. I have the full write-up on my website (The Standards - The Pursuit of Perfect Sound) or in the Parts Express Project Gallery (The Standards | Parts Express Project Gallery)
Overall, pretty happy with the sound of these. These Peerless woofers have deep and articulate bass in this cabinet, playing down into the upper 30's. Lots of low level detail through the whole spectrum. Parts were about $380 before cabinets using all poly caps.

Hi Mr. Navy Guy,
I know this thread is a little old. The Dayton Dayton Audio RS28A-4 is no longer available.
Would be OK to use the Dayton Audio RST28A-4 instead with maybe a larger value for resistor R2?
Here's the link for the newer driver. (Dayton Audio RST28A-4 1-1/8" Reference Series Aluminum Dome Tweeter 4 Ohm)
Thank you - ziffel

I can answer this- the 2 editions of RS tweeter are very different, and will require much more than just a padding change.
Do you want an old pair?

Thank you Wolf.
I'm helping a grad student decide upon a design to build. If you have a pair, he might want them. I will have to talk to him about it next week. Are they in good shape? What would you want for them?
We're also looking at a design that uses the ScanSpeak D2608/9130 and Peerless 830883. I tend to prefer fabric dome tweeters.
Thank you again - ziffel

The Standards are the RS28A, not the silks, and I have 9 of the A on the shelf. I'll have to check the fit/finish, as I got them from someone else, but they should be solid. Due to demand, I'd want $60/each plus shipping.
I can get out the WT2 and do some sweeps to verify, and I'm in Indiana, so shipping won't be bad.
Later,
Wolf
