The sound of 47Labs DAC clones

Bass can be improved with a few external transistors acting as CCSs I found incidentally.

Hi, will you please share this experience. I have tried to feed the 1543 with 8 volts and the CS1842 with 5 volts as required. Seems OK for me.

A pair of two-transistor (PNP) current sources do a better job than the internal CCSs. Disconnect pin7 and use the external CCSs to bias the resistors at the DAC's output.
