If this follows the previous patterns he won't post again to this thread, and we can discuss it until the cows come home.. 😀 Eventually it will get booring, we all know what a terrible idea that circuit was, notwithstanding the fact that it sort of marginally works. (Low mu triodes don't make super good ccs' particularly in this implementation)

Sounds to me someone has figured out how to play you guys. Nothing like riling up the forum regulars. I suggest no longer responding to any of his posts, unless you enjoy this diatribe.

Call me cynical, but I actually enjoy these threads more than the current-fad type threads, which this month is Schade feedback. I'm just waiting it out until the next fad is even remotely interesting to me.

I wonder what the next one will be. Will we have worked all the way back to triodes with no feedback? Pentode based preamps? All-sand driver stages? Place bets now! :cheeky:

That's what we would call ( here!) a 'funda' concept. The basis for any activity in life ! Does SY read Eastern scriptures ? Hmmmmm.....what DOES he read .....!😉

It's always educative to follow what others say as you can then understand how their minds work. That helps us to interact with them in future in the best constructive way we can. That would mean that we would always be constructive ( or positive) in all our utterings and hence be successful from the Nirvanah point of view. Comprendo .............?

It's 10.30 pm here and I'm watching my new class A headphone amp running at max bias to see if it will blow up. Something went pop a while ago but I see no smoke so it could just be an ice cube in my drink !😀 Whew !

Yup, Lars already mentioned that early up in the thread.

Stee is a bit potty, we're quite well off here in the tube section of the forum, he's more fond of SS subforum where he posts Frankenschematics botched together from various sources. I wonder why, there so many free schematic tools around that are easier to use than M$ Paint.
