Some time ago I posted the best thing in the history of everything here. Unfortunately, "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation," made life since a little bleaker.
So I just had to post the second best thing ever: Reg Kehoe and His Marimba Queens.

The best thing is a 1960s medley from Morning Musume, a Japanese morning show from the 1990s.
The rest of the Morning Musume stuff is pretty boring. Not all bad for a morning show, though.

Yes, I'm already the proud owner of one Morning musume audio track: Sukiyaki, the only one with any substance.... Not to be confused with Sukiyaki (Ue wo Muite Aruku) by Kyu Sakamoto and most recently (2001) by the Sunday Girls (from Okinawa). There:- you really wouldn't expect such JPop trivia on a serious forum like this AND more info that on Wikipedia - I must update it
I'm turning into a YouTubeaholic in hurry.
This one is pretty neat. At least it should be a relief from Devo or whatever geek music tech geeks listen to these days.
Pierre Henry Psyché Rock
No valves were hurt in the production.

I'm just barely old enough to remember Ernie Kovacs, a real genius.

Kovacs and Monty Python saved television from being a utter and complete failure.

This is one of my absolute favourite "finds" on YouTube. I believe the main footage is from Rambo III. I can't say for sure since I haven't seen it, thank god. Thrown into the mix are some cuts from Lucio Fulci's classic excessively violent and gory made for Italian TV black horror comedy Quando Alice Ruppe lo Specchio, as well as some other cuts. Amazingly, next to the ultra violent Rambo III (?), Fulci's sadism looks almost sane! The music/soundtrack sounds like something Merzbow could have done. This is great stuff.
