Hi XTAL,
You can find o interesting report in the
ELEKTOR review, Spanish versión are the
numbers Nº:235, 236,237 but I think that you can to intoduce in the official web of elektor but I don´t sure if the elektor have a www page.
If you have any problems about it, I can sending to you the Schematics, but the article are in spanish.

Hi Jesus,
sorry to disturb you one more time, but this article seems very interesting to me. I am right now stating to develop a DAC with CS8420+DF1704+PCM1704 and it can help me. I have no problem in reading spanish.
My e-mail is: joao.yazbek@uol.com.br
Thanks in advance...

check the application notes for the DF and PCM parts - There is a demo board available for $399 US that will allow you to experiment with various modes. The app note for the board includes a schematic and board layout should you decide to DIY it.
Link to app note: http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/sbau013/sbau013.pdf
several language options are available if you go to ti's main site - search for DEM-DAI1704 for the board info.
It's funny how so many circuits you find on the web are just minor (if that much) variatons on application note designs. I never saw teh Elektor design so I am not commenting on that.

Hi Jesus,
My mail box has 20 Mbytes, I could not understand why it refused your e-mail. If you can try it again, send me in two or three separate files, I think that it will work fine.
Again, thanks for the attention.

Dear jyazbek,
I had one question & hope U can give me some advise.
1. CS8414 + 8420 + DF1704 ( 24.5760M Oscillator ) + 2X PCM1704.
2. CS8414 + DF1704( 24.5760M Oscillator ) + 2X PCM1704.
3.CS8420 + DF1704 + 2X PCM1704.
Which one U prefer!!
pls give me some advise!
thx

Don't use CS8420
CS8420 and nearly all ASRC is rubbish, sounds bad.
Use AD826 and LT1027 as the power supply of PCM1704, which really sounds good.

Re: Don't use CS8420
Do you have any schematics of those available? I'm working at the moment on PCm1704 DAC and better PS would be interesting to try.

Re: Re: Don't use CS8420
the ML 30.6 DAC has this type PS.Maybe you can re-draw its schematic😉 😀

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Re: I guess the schematic like this
Hi , AD1865 ,
You try the schematic ? How about ?
Thanks!😀
