Hi,

Fs is 100Hz and Qts is 2.7. Jury is out on removing the whizzer.
Its cheap, and won't handle much power, good for open baffles.
No bass, it will need a sub. Does have a notable presence peak.

Actually, my interest is in open-back-boxes not open-baffle - I guess the difference between them is academic for most people but when I say open-back-box I really mean a Boffle. That presence peak is a little scary as I believe I have some hyperacusis but in my case I think 5kHz - 7kHz is my problem area.

Lucky you, mine are centered at 2, 4, 8 kHz, so most cone/dome speakers sound downright painful to me. 🙁
