True and false. I believe the petrol companies are behaving monopolistically in N.A., but that a higher gas price would probably be a good thing. The prices paid in Europe and Oz are both dramatically higher than N.A, and it would be good to see some push away from fossil fuels, which higher cost would help drive (long term). So long as that higher cost isn't simply getting banked by Chevron (it is).
