Hi,
one of my dreams came true, we finally went on vacation to Iceland. Incredibly beautiful, I am deeply impressed and thrilled. Here are some pictures from Mars... I mean from Iceland, as well as me with my daughter 😀

.... and of your omnipotence. It's good to be reminded, at least from time to time, of sheer Enormity of Nature

I have no idea if anyone has posted about this guy (Terry Fator) before, if so... apologies. I did a quick forum search, and I came up blank. Couldn't resist sharing. A few of these videos made my morning (and there are a ton more). I may have to see him in Vegas. May not be for everyone, but it sure tickled me.
I don't know how I hadn't heard of him before...
Edited to add: "When you're down, and you need to be satisfied; a little Willie goes a long way"...

Heading back to an event that proved life changing for our family some 26 years ago...
Just 5 weeks earlier, on a long camping-along-the-way vacation from Denver to Vancouver Island, we stopped in Seattle for a day where my wife had an interview scheduled with MS. The job was offered, Van Isle's west coast was magical and we made it back to Denver 3 weeks later, where we rented a truck the very next day and begin to say our goodbyes. Soon after, we were living in a hotel with 3 children, flustered and beaten down by a tight housing market, very much in the rentor's favor, when my wife suggested taking the weekend off and going to the WB Fest that I'd talked about for the last few years. Somewhat desperate, feeling the pressure and hemorrhaging what little money we had, I resisted and continued scouring the classified ads, making hopeless little circles
around rental properties in increasingly less desirable locations. Then I gave in. We had a great time, fell in love with PT and on Sunday night, waiting in line for the ferry back to Seattle, we said F-it, why not... We maneuvered the Van of Death, aka, The Mistake (one of those long nosed Pontiac vans) out of the waiting line and headed back to PT. We stayed for 7 years and had kiddo #4 there. The effect those years had on each and every one of us is immeasurable and unforgettable. We return with warm hearts, innumerable memories and a deep longing for a more permanent stay.
If you've ever had a yin for boats, wooden or not, this is a pilgrimage worth taking. I do advise caution however, you can never quite predict what might happen in weird, wonderful Port Townsend, especially around the WBF. 😉

Wife daughter and I played a game with a similar video like this one. Tally up best song for every birth-month… see who wins!
