After six bottle of Dreher Gold I must have to share my opinion about Kate Bush:
She is a genuine genius. It isn't an accident that she is a CBE.
My opinion stands without any beers.
You can dislike her, but her uniqe stile emerges her from average music scene.
She is an only one.

She was 19 year old with "Wuthering Heights".....
The benefit from that track alone can probably buy six more bottles of Dreher Gold?

Hello WBS,
I am still busy with my IXYS-MosFet-poweramp-project. I've got pcbs from China last week. I made them on my own with KiCad. It will be the
outputstage -bias-circuit. A lot of the circuit is copied from ZenMod. Yes, I am guilty - I copied....
I made the boards for the inputstage - which is nothing else than a cascoded BA-3 frontend. I have to say - also copied....
This keeps me busy for the next few weeks.
The last 4-5 years I have built some stuff:
preamps: Waynes BAF2018 linestage, ACP+, KORG B1 NUTUBE, BA-3-pre, JFet-BOSOZ, Balanced ZEN - linestage, Son of ZEN, Bride of ZEN
poweramps: F5T-monoblocks, BA-1-monoblocks, M2X with all bufferboards, 50W-SE-Schade-monoblocks, two BA-3 poweramps, another F5 with BJTs at the input
active crossovers: two DIY BiAmp 6-24-crossovers, one LX-mini-analog-crossover
phono-pres: X-ONO-clone, Pearl1, Pearl2
and a B1 buffer, H2-generator a music server, 2-way-loudspeaker-project,...
At the moment I think, that I should listen more?

Great, Dirk! And your list of finished projects is just breathtaking

I started with diy after a short break of approx. 30 years 😀 in September again and until the end of November I built 2 ACAs, the Frugal Horn MkIII and XRKs great FAST TL, not bad for such a short time.
Next projects will be the Iron Pumpkin pre (it has high priority) as soon as it arrives, a 2way speaker (don't no which one), the LuFo power amp, the Babelfish XA252 and the 6/24 crossover. Huhh quite a lot 😀 😱

Just listened to Pi:

I would suggest her to make a song from one of the biggest Mersenne Primes.
That would be fine if I could find the next one to her.
I'm around at the 155th position on the last year Top Producers List.
Hovewer, my chances are quite low.

But it is quite reassuring that I have enough Dreher Golds.
At the moment, at least.
