My big friend Mauro's setup with Fast8 (and Goldwood 18") in open baffle. The rest of the chain is Garrad300 with SPU, 834p TRLH, Threshold Fet10, Firstwatt B5, 45 SET amplifier, Icepower for woofer.

Plenty of configurations with this audio jewelry. Haha 18" woofer in the barrel.
Tips: put some wool felt or soft texture material ( rubber or cork ) in between speakers and the contact points with the floor.
Less mechanical coupling interaction & vibrations to the floor make them "floating in the air"= cleaner frequency response.
It's practicaly no cost experiment 😉
