Yes, there are still some hours until 2021......depending on how far "from east" we are.....
My M2X mono blocks + SSII are warming up......so it can play some good music. A 2013 Riesling Crémant from Germany + Salmon from Faroe Islands will be a very nice end of this year......
Also Happy New Year from here.....no so far east.....but more east than Hawaii.....

Probably not a DIY "XA25 alike" amp?

With all the special input boards I think I can live a long time with only M2X......

A good thing is that the output devices are still available......not cheap....but you don't need many,.....

The output devices aren't that expensive, especially considering you only need two per channel.

Here they are....about....$30-40....if you only buy one or two.....

I have a more or less DIY 300B amp.....with an open 550 VDC power supply.....and 300B tubes can be rather expensive.....depending on which you buy. I have yet avoided the "smell" of what 1000 uF / 550 VDC does to a finger.....and here you only get 7W or so in 8 ohm.....then 30-50 VDC is a bit more on the safe side.......
