I've forgot to switch off my balanced Whammy, LX-Mini and MSB Platinum Link for more than a week, when I was listen to music last time.
Now, as I say for myself, I can't live more without music, I was surprised, why Whammy is so hot, when I try switch it on?
Because these were power on, for some days.
You know, I'm almost deaf, but it was a good surprise, things sounds so good now.

You all know, I'm a very big fan and propagator of modern Swiss minimal music.
For me, it is an absolute truth:
"...Sonar's idiosyncratic sound world....once you are in, you don't want to leave..." (Nik Bärtsch, pianist and ECM recording artist)"
I don't know, it is qualifies me, or just the music.
Anyway, it doesn't matter, last years I have realised (for me) some musical truth by Swiss minimal musicist like Nik Bärtsch, Mik Keusen, Zimoun, Peter Scherer, Don Li, Andreas Stahel and so one.
They are reveal me such musical experements for me, like Arvo Pärt, for example.

The Story of Electricity - BBC Documentary
The same film but without bug at 1:40 min. so is better full version 🙂
Well, I have been rather quiet for a while!
My "workshop" is officially a double garage - the only comfort is that the household heating boiler is in there. Due to lack of enthusiasm and the habitual cold weather here, I had allowed it to become a dumping ground, so some six or seven trips to the waste tip later it is beginning to take some form.
Yet the island in the kitchen is large and makes a wonderful workbench for lighter tasks!
All of this getting sorted has been very necessary as I managed to buy most of the contents of poor AndrewT's workshop and needed a good amount of space to store most of it following some three trips with a big estate car!!.
Among the goodies were a Bonsai NX amp, an Astx A/B amp, a decent Salas Hypnotise with all the possible extras - and a Euval M5X case, still packed with only one HS unwrapped.!
There are a few other part-built amps and a lot of transistors etc, all neatly sorted and labeled by test results!
Unfortunately the absolute best finished stuff has been kept in the family...including four Tannoy 15" original Golds.
Andrew was exceptionally thorough and it shows in the way he worked and labeled his parts bins. His handiwork was excellent and every piece shows great emphasis on safety...all totally in line with his posts here. He came here to help me with a couple of problems a few years ago and I was surprised at how he was such easy company with a good sense of humour.
Despite now having a very good system I am in (protracted due to the cost of the above) contact with our Lord and Omnipotent Landlord, ZM, about getting hold of his version of the M2!...I reckon it will sit nicely in Euval's case and be a cause of great joy to me ... and envy to some of my friends!!! 😛

regarding Andrew , I can only tell that I'm sad that he chose not to show that sense of humor in this world of us ; he was extraordinary teacher and savour of all things order ........ but sadly he meant that being a joker isn't in line with that
though , I'm extremely glad to hear that he was one , in life out of Forum

We are all friends in the pub Gyuri, that's why we come here. We can discuss things that we wouldn't elsewhere at diyAudio. If I never meet the pubster's in person I can still judge from behind a screen. They have value in my life, sometimes more than I might actually post. I think many of us feel the same way. I feel free to use the term 'friend' without ever shaking their hand or in my case, giving a big-ol-bear-hug, Cal style, which you'll be subject to shall we meet in person.
Staffan, thank you for deleting your last post. Yes, this is a pub, but we still have rules. And, did I spell your name correctly? If not, I apologize.
You did my friend
Anyways, I am sorry for my expression of my genuine hatred for conservatism. It just happens to be the most stupid political point anyone can make for me, ever. Add to that I struggle with a son that competes with myself in stupidity in young ages. I just dont want him to do it the hard way I did. Its a ******* matchrace. Peace brothers. Live well. ps. I have cancelled the racing season to be with my son whenever I can instead. Sorry.
You know, there are no absolute truth, different viewpoints only.
Perhaps it is a very exception:
Hatred will not help.

He did, on a few occassons in the KSA50 thread and a couple of times in the latter years of his presence at diyA.
Safe to assume that Andrew was too much of a (former) tech teacher, he meant well most of the times, a pity he's no longer around imo.
Thanks for posting that ZM.
Music is universal to the human spirit and transcends national boundaries. I didn't understand a word. However I was transfixed by the beauty of the performance and the surroundings in which it was performed.
