From today, my B3 driven balanced F4, goes to sleep to summer dream.
Because of generated heat (about 660W), and electricity bill.
Now I call to serve me my Leach amp.
Do you remember ZM, we discussed some years ago about its quiescent current?
Now it has +/- 53VDC power supply voltages, I set it to about 200mA quiescent current.
Per output device.
It has ten per side.
Now I more or less satisfied with it.
Except the electricity bill and heat.

I found some of the 500V version of the Ixys pucks at a local surplus store for about $10 apiece. The die size is the same, and I expect them to bias up in similar fashion, if I ever get around to them. I need some more big heat sinks.
