I had an Alfa Romeo 1963 Gulia spyder had 12" drum brakes on the front with 3 brake shoes each drum and each shoe had its own wheel cylinder...It would stand you on your head...

Ouch, hope you're ok from that. Rear drum brake is pretty useless on my bike. Good for keeping it from rolling down the hill but otherwise front brake only. Never had a front drum brake. Must be kinda like fred flinstones relative to disks.
Yeah I have been sort of ok (as dodoses here may testify )for past 35 years more or less since that
