That is an absolute shame especially so as you put so much work into those beasts. Best of luck...and watch out for hernias; happens too easily with that sort of moving!

Yup ceramic door knobs as feet make sliding Papa amp on carpets real horrorshow.
Now you can buy those from super duper Fifi butique at real gloopy Golly due to the intrinsic quantum meccanics of ramdonly compacted aluminium oxide particles for superior sound blablabla...
Or just go to hardvare shop and show them picture of Knob and pay about 2quids

Da sound seems to roll out of the speaker rather than slide. It's a listener preference thing.🙄
I like the spikes - but that makes sliding things along the carpet a challenge.😱
I have had sum carpet burns that looked very similar..... But that didn't have anything to do with spikes on the audio gear.....

Lazy indeed. Well we got some work done on two days at the shipyard. We ate crabfish and also rotten fish. I ate one, it was a delightful first and last time. We also moved around 20-25 000 tubes from the cargo area to an old mess below the wheel. Approx 2-3 tons of horn speakers, stainless tanks, engines etc was also moved to a storage. About one tenth of the cargo area was cleared. I also recapped my welding skills and built a POLE mounted long range 4 g network.
