Well, we are slowly but surely approaching the end of the year 2012, which, according to the Maya Calendar, will be the end of the world.😱
Mebbe a stupid question, but : should I buy 3D glasses to watch the apocalypse?
In addition, is there any potential dangers in looking directly into the end of the world ...?

I tend to believe that its the point at which we realise we are screwed beyond no return.
Maybe a food shortage, or a massive supply disruption, or a financial collapse.
In either case I'll be kicking up my feet on a desert island (Australia) listening to UB40.
I hope you Americans can come down and join us in the event of a sudden thermonuclear war on US soil.
You might want to nuke Australia too first tho, with some clean nukes so you can move straight in, we've got a bit of an infestation of Ants and other creepy crawlies that get on your nerves. oh and beware of the native Bogan, they can be pretty annoying sometimes. 😀

Just remember to bring guns, lots and lots and lots of guns, and ammo, and mortar shells, tanks, grenades, RPG's, IED's, flame throwers (for spiders), good quality American beer, and rock and roll.
My favourite would have to be the STGW '57:

Oh and for those located in NY, don't forget Lady Liberty, we can set her up in New Zealand and you guys can totally have that whole island for a New New York.
Serious, its mine to give away, come and get it.

question line
It's from "The Pervert", starring Zed from Police Academy.
You know : Zed at the supermarket - YouTube
Unfortunately, the movie didn't pass any rating anywhere, one of those gems waiting to be released at some unknown moment.
(likely due to the explicit close-up scenes of Zed and various obese women at the pastry and vegetable sections)
(my life's philosophy is Disney, Sci-Fi, and hard core porn only. I haven't watched a horror movie since 1980)
Mon dieu, Xmas shopping starts way before the 20th here.
(then, I enjoy chasing big women with a shopping cart down the isles )
Like Benny Hill in the original (and much finer) "Italian Job"?

....outta stone, so couldn't be too big...too much work...end comes soon......
Edit:...get another calender designer....!
😀
I like it.
Mayans where around from 250-900 A.D. Give or take.
I always thought they said..... " Well boys and girls, we made the calender. We where going to keep going, but.... 1700 years into the future is good enough for now. We will add more later, maybe tuesday."
And they never got to it.
the original Italian Job
What better part for a fat chaser than getting arrested.
A somewhat underrated comedian, imho.
(one has to steal inspiration from somewhere)

Buzz - layers of MDF , glued together , then lathe
what you see is glue residue , between layers
Cal Likes adapters too.
He takes a pole mount from PA stuff
Cuts to size and adds set screws
Bolts screw-on midrange driver to 511 horn
For his 3 way in Altec cabinets.
Sorry for small pics. Not figure camera at that point.
Cal likes any colour green. Than one is as good as Altec green. Altec green awfully industrial.
