Ahhhhhhh - that takes me back to my old Navy daze and boarding parties and security patrols.... Da shotgun wuz my fav. When people hear you chamber up a round things get real quite and most people will follow your instructions very promptly. 🙄
Barrett arms is just a few miles down the road from me. They make some pretty nasty stuff.😱
Weapons and drug smugglers....... usually on small boats - but the mother ships were usually small freighters and boarding and searching one of those can be nasty. Lot's of places to hide stuff - and people - and booby traps.
OTOH - ya gotta remember that the vast majority of boats or ships that are searched are just regular people out making a living by fishing or hauling legit cargo. You can't just be some gun slinging cowboy kicking in doors for ***** and grins and playing bad ***. Chances are that the crew on that boat are local people on a local boat and you will be meeting them again in the future.

Nah - I wuz on a destroyer. Ya wouldn't wanna try that behind a destroyer I don't think. Besides - I sucked at any type of skidding - either on the water on onna snowy hill..... 😀😀😀
