Never had those but it should be safe. Its a one oil source that serves engine, primary drive and gearbox, a wet sump system without separate oil tank. Theres plenty of oil in "tubs" up there that ensures longevity.

Bolt in center of pic cal. Makes it free to wiggle like Willie on the beach.

But the push rod is fixed to the pivot on the bracket and the bracket is bolted to the frame so it can't compress the spring.
Maybe it's just my old eyes but that stuck out immediately.
