ZM's crystal ball appears to be working. We have in fact
invested in a lot of tubes lately, if only to provide suitable
references. I know someone with a quad of NOS WE 300B's -
they will provide suitable comparison to modern drek 300B's.
Reference for a PapaFET II? Are you going to build a 300x 300Beast...? I can't imagine a thousand.

Like a battlefield formation of a Manipulus, split in four quadrants, a Centuria (100 soldiers) on each flank.
And when the music starts, the sky opens and the walls dissapear, you hear the rest of the legion come from all sides and from deep behind the front line. (really amusing was that Guido called it the Centi-Are)
Really impressive, even when half-shitfaced each time.
