Well, our salmon fishing closed off today to allow them to breed. I hope that this respite is long enough as there were very few caught over the past 2 months.

It will give me an opportunity to make the amps I have in mind and to sort out my badly matched system.......and of course to make some new salmon flies for next year.

One of you generous gents will surely know what's up with my Aleph J. I tested both boards and they checked out so I put them in their chassis, after which one side isn't working. I get one half of the rail voltage (12.Xv) across the speaker terminals and the 'plus side' IRFP240s stay cool (insulated with mica and white paste). Any and all suggestions much appreciated.
