top panel is raised because of tight cut styrofoam inserts beneath .
it needs some force to push them down , as intended
few screws and some barbwire loops around will do the job

For your info, i decided to skip fish fingers for a while, also Italian desserts with lady fingers e.g. Tiramisu.

I didn't get all of them out.
Initial impressions just playing on the floor is very good. Definitely better than the Seas Fullrange.
More air, more detail, better separation of instruments, and you get all of that on a 15" woofer. I am very happy.
I am excited to listen to music again.
Even my wife is now showing interest in my hobby.
I will build up the open baffles tomorrow.
I still need to pull out the Radian compression driver and have a listen to that too.
EDIT: I can now build any firstwatt amp. 😀

As you only play ex-juke box 45s, you can get away with a downscaled TT. Could be handy in drought conditions.
