RIP, David Johansen. Amazing performer. In conjunction with Sylvain Sylvain, the most kick *** stage presence I have ever witnessed. I learned in the NYT obit that NYD came back together due to the efforts of Morrisey. So thank you, Morrisey, for making it possible for me to have witnessed their awesomeness in person.
Yes, it is.Lucky you
But it is matter of viewpoints, as everythings else.
I will be 66 in april 10, I hope so.
While the expected average lifetime for males born in 1959 in hungary is 65.04 years.
So, I've been continuously improving the statistics for almost a year.
Day after day.
But if we consider my pension, it is about 675$/month, after more than 47 years of continous hard work.
Do you think, I'm a lucky one?
That was a poetic question, because I consider myself lucky one after all.
Of course, it could be better, especially considering the fate of my son.
On the other hand, as long as I can enjoy listening to music, after my SSHL what happened in 2017, there can be no major problem.
And yes, I can.
In this afternoon, I've listened to my King Crimson's LPs.
Participiants were my Hana ML cartridge, (I bought it for myself as a Christmas present with my last paycheck.) driving to my Pass XOno.
Then it drives ZM Iron Pre, and it drives Aleph J Zm.
I must say, ZM conquered Hungary.
But it certainly conquered me.
Brian asked, the speakers are Martin J. King designed MLTLs with Fostex FE260En, built by me almost 20 years ago.
There are so many things I still want to accomplish.
My cat Cica is getting older with me, he will be 15 years old in April.

Me, too. But that is one thing that helps one continue to age, as far as what I have read. Keep going!
Tomorrow is RPG day. Old 50+ farts meet up an play role playing game. Fully analog, wooden dices, papers and voices. Lunch break with traditional Swedish food at traditional restaurant with traditional beer. Then back and slay orcs.

damn
I discovered spanners and soldering iron too early
have no ookin' clue what you're talkin about
in my wee time it was cowboys and indians, or any local iteration of that (nazis and partisans)

^ RPGs => Roll Playing Games (specifically Dungeons and Dragons). I loved that era. Those should not be confused with Rocket Propelled Grenades. Those are still fun, but not as suitable for kids. 🙂
We played as teenagers. Now we have rallied up a gang of old boys as an excuse to, you know.. meet up, have a laugh and a beer
First (it should go without saying) I know zip, zero, zilch, nada about quantum physics. Even the 'basic' theories warp my brain.should I say that I've spent entire life in RPG
With that said, I've been reading and watching some videos put out by purportedly reliable / reasonable sources regarding some of the more recent discoveries and debates around quantum computing. These seem to have led some folks (it seems intentionally) back to the "Many Worlds Interpretation" and the 'multiverse' theories.
Maybe we're all just someone else's RPG... 🧠

Maybe we're all just someone else's RPG
who cares?
as long it's fun as is, I have no slightest objection
an old friend stopped by the other day and told me they have a foursome playing D&D at least 4-5 days a week. Everyone's excited and he's getting daily text asking if the game is on for the evening. The Dungeon Master? ChatGPT... He's also got the AI novelizing all of their play complete with graphics. All the players are in their 50's and 60's
