I have an old RTX 6001 that went as a pre-build here back in the days. Tried installing it with a non win 11 compliant machine yesterday but yea drivers, ASIO and old windows, and Arta… didn’t feel straight forward directly… maybe I can find some thread. Might see if Mr Linux likes it better as wellREW-'wagon'

Workbench measuring side functional. Now I need to work on lightning for geezer eyes
^ Those cubbies / rack make me smile! I MUST do something to organize my mess.
Yea. It only took me like 15 years from bragging about it on the Internet to make it half-ready
Banapple Gas. Cat/Yusuf is a funny man. Cuppa tea and some vinyl exploring after some fifi-chassie-making may end this Thursday. My younger sis got a diploma from the kings hand the other day. Funny as she’s an ol punkrocker like me, screaming down with monarchs etc not so long ago. Buddha is everywhere!

Hmm.... it reminds me of something out of '88.
Speaking of the dodo…

I have that LP. Bought it brand new. Mine looks in much better shape from the outside. The inside is pristine.
"...Oh very young
What will you leave us this time
You're only dancing on this Earth for a short while
Oh very young
What will you leave us this time..."
Simple awesome.
Yes, I started purchasing second hand records. It is notable that those, often 30+ years old records, is often in much better condition then the fresh out of the pressing new crap that seems to have ca 80 % chance of having uneven shapes in form of off center holes, a wobbling and unflat form or even surfaces that jumps the needle. I’m sending back many of the new presses I buy.
in that case, for proper diygeezer, it's easy to make nice and cozy ultrasound bath washing setup
There are a great variety of prices on such devices goggle tells me. A decent ”regular” ultrasound cleaner, which I have does not cost many bucks, 40-60 or so. I get it that for vinyls it should be a different shape of the bucket as well as some holding/spinning mechanism but that shouldn’t manifest a 10 times the money bill.
A cheaper one:

Sinatra, Live At The Sands. Try finding that one. Nelson Riddle and Frank at their best.
nothing you can't make by your own
even replacement BBQ motor for electric stove is good for spindle rotation
solve plastic circles and O-rings for label protection as best you can and that's it
And then what will you do with the BBQ?
Mind you, I do have the motor and spindle and what not for the rotisserie in an old BBQ. But the thing is HUGE.
BTW, when I lived in Hawai'i, the water coming out of the faucet was so pure that you could put it in the battery of your car. It also worked great for handwashing LPs. I would fill the tub a quarter, pour a couple of drops of Ivory dishwashing detergent, wipe the LPs with a soft rag, then rinse them under running water and air dried them in one of them LP racks they sold then...
Then I got one of them LAST record preservatives and Disc Washer.... later in life, when I got rich and infamous, I got the little VPI Hoover Vacuum cleaner.
Nothing like playing an LP you've owned since the beginning. Even my Concert For Bangladesh is playable today.... Then you got the used records from the 50s and 60s.... Yowza!
How about discussing ultra sonic cleaners? There are some expensive ones and some inexpensive ones too. Ideally, I'd want something that won't spill and won't make my home office look like the lab of some maniac Chemist from Behind The Iron Curtain. MInd you, as it is, with wires, lights, cables, boxes, computers, it looks like the lab of some maniac Physicist from West Of The 405.

I had an ultrasound bath this morning.
When I was finished, I looked at the water and have never felt so dirty in all my life.
All those nooks and crannies now clean.
I lost 3 kg. and now my wife won’t talk to me for what I did to the tub.
It reminded me of my days as a gigolo. The money was good but, oh the shame.
Don’t try this at home. Stick to your LP’s.

Gigolo, huh?
In the early 80s I had an Alfa Romeo. I got a personalized license plate... "D GIGOLO"
I was young, had a luscious moustache and wrap around shades. I looked like I just stepped out from a movie with Sofia Loren.
Signore Toni, come va? Ti sei divertito con Sofia? L'auto è partita stamattina?
Eventually, I dumped the Alfa and got a Honda. I transferred the plate.
At some point, I bought an Acura and gave the Honda to my finance/wife. She drove it around with D GIGOLO plate. She told me she got some strange looks, so then I got her a brand new CRX with her first name on the plate.
I wish I had had the plate on the collection of Odyssey minivans we had...
